After graduating with a business degree and then a teaching degree, I worked several years for a prestigious labour relations law firm while teaching night school. Hubby and I decided to start our family and I left the business world. While raising our son, I have enjoyed operating a catering company, setting up new accounting systems for various charitable organizations, and done desk-top publishing. A serious incident, however, changed my life drastically and I'm now living with two fused vertebrae in my neck. While I cannot commit to a career on a full-time basis any longer, as my health allows, I continue to work on my passion in assisting charitable organizations and making web pages.
Many of the organizations I do projects for have limited funds. I, therefore, find myself spending many, MANY hundreds of hours searching for free materials here on the internet. A word of warning, please carefully always read the terms and conditions of use for any materials you find that claim to by "free". If there are no terms, it probably means they aren't reputable and may not really own the rights to the materials they are sharing.
Until I accumulated my own collection of images, I thank the many individuals who's materials I have used -- from images, to animations, to music -- all generously donated for the use of others free of charge. In an effort to do my part and give back to others, to help the struggling students, educators, charities, and those in need of free images, I put together this site in order to share the places I have been and the sights that I have captured. I am not a professional photographer, I just love to take pictures. I hope my images will help you in completing your projects.
I ask that you support this free site by placing a link to it on your your website, click the Facebook "like" button, or better yet, shout about it from the rooftops, just let others know.
I thank my son, Kevin Chorowiec, a graduate of the University of Toronto, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, for volunteering his time to write informational material and create slide presentations on various nature themes. These are perfect for use in a variety of educational settings. Be sure to check out the Slide Presentation categories. More will be added as time permits.
Perhaps my injury was God's way of slowing me down, so that I might have the time to share whatever talents He has blessed me with. For as long as I am able, I will continue to create educational resources and add images as I capture them.
Finally, I am reminded of Erma Bombeck's quote:

before God at the end of my life,
