The Arctic Wolves are located in the Tundra Trek Section of the Toronto Zoo.
In order to survive in their native cold, harsh climates, the Arctic Wolf's fur is insulated. It is quite happy in sub-zero temperatures. Wolves live in groups called "packs" of 2 to 20. Baby wolves are called "cubs".

Another
name for an Arctic Wolf [Canis lupus arctos] is "snow
wolf" or "white wolf". It is a subspecies of the gray
wolf [Canis lupus]. Their native habitat is the Canadian
Arctic, Alaska and northern Greenland. Their white appearance allows them
to blend into their snowy surroundings.
