Thalictrum dasycarpum is commonly known as "Purple Meadow-rue, Meadow Rue" and "Tall Meadow Rue" and is a member of the Ranunculaceae Family. This species is an upright perennial that grows to be 2-6 feet in height. Flowers bloom from May to June in loose, delicate, terminal clusters. Each flower is a cream colour. All of the plants below were photographed at Grundy Lake Provincial Park, Ontario. Did you know... that male and female Tall Meadow Rue flowers are usually on separate plants?
