Educational Slide Presentation Gallery
The
slide presentations below are great additions to any teacher's
educational resources. They include custom animations,
graphics, charts, diagrams, and of course, a lot of original
photographs. They are appropriate for use with a wide range of
students, grades & subjects.
There
is so much about our world for students to learn. How do we as their
teachers, best impart this knowledge? Student learning takes place in a variety of ways. We each have what
are called intelligence strengths. There are those who have linguistic,
logical, mathematical, spatial, musical, kinesthetic, naturalistic,
interpersonal, and/or intrapersonal strengths. Young
students learn in all modalities and begin showing a preference for a
particular type of instruction at about the age of eight. By knowing
the strengths and learning styles of one's students, a teacher can design
lessons and activities that help each student to successfully master new
concepts and skills.
These
slide presentations will appeal to the linguistic learners who learn best
by seeing words; the spatial learners who enjoy visualizing concepts and
working with pictures; and the naturalists, who like to be outside and
enjoy animals, geography and weather.
We
have found that most language learners are visual or kinesthetic,
especially when they first begin learning a new language.
Teachers in higher grades often use an auditory teaching style and should
consider adding visual images to their lesson plans.
Enjoy.

"To know ahead
of time
what you're looking for means you're then only photographing your own
preconceptions,
which is very limiting,
and often false.."

"To me,
photography is an art
of observation.
It's about finding something interesting
in an ordinary place...
I've found it has little to do
with the things you see
and everything to do
with the way you see them."
