  Did you know....

Cruising is a favourite past time of mine!  A cruise ship is a specially designed ship built for pleasure voyages.  The amenities on board the ship are part of the vacation experience in addition to the destination stops (ports of call) along the voyage route.  Cruise ships generally begin and end at the originating port, but not always.  Ocean liners, on the other hand, have itineraries designed to transport passengers from once place to another.

Today's cruise ships carry thousands of passengers and crew and are in fact like small floating cities with their own power source, water purification, hospital, cinema, dining, sport and spa venues in addition to numerous theatres, clubs and casinos. Think about traveling and seeing the world while living aboard a floating hotel.

  Did you know....

that the cruise industry is the fastest growing travel sector in the world?  Ever bigger cruise ships are being ordered and built and more and more individuals questioned have expressed a desire to take a cruise.  Since 2000, more than 100 new ships have come into service.
